A Leading Edge Learning Environment
Advantage Classroom Licensing
Advantage Classroom, Inc.
Advantage Classrooms, Inc (ACI), a New Hampshire corporation and a wholly owned subsidiary of The H. L. Turner Group Inc, was formed to provide Architects and Owners around the country access to the concepts, techniques and technologies employed by the Turner Group for Advantage ClassroomTM school buildings. Through ACI we can offer the benefits of the Advantage ClassroomTM design to school districts throughout the country, allowing the design to be performed by a local architect with consulting services by the Turner Group. Through this approach we can transfer the knowledge we have acquired through many years of research, development, and practice to other Architects, and empower them to create Advantage ClassroomTM designs for school districts in their region of the country. Through this collaborative effort we can combine the best of both worlds:
The local knowledge of the architectural character of the region, construction methods and materials, together with…….
Our proven, national understanding of how to achieve sustainable, healthy school buildings that offer an enhanced learning environment, employing state of the art materials.
The Turner Group, as consultants, will guide the Licensee in the development of the project as well as provide key architectural ingredients for its success. Our mechanical staff will provide the design for the project's heating, ventilating and air conditioning system employing our displacement ventilation techniques. Our fees for consulting services are paid as a percentage of the project's costs, as is typical of the project's A&E fees. Our consulting services are provided to the architect of record through an annually renewable license agreement. Over a period of time and multiple projects, our consulting fees and our role are reduced to a minor support level, as it is anticipated that the licensee will have learned how to employ our techniques through repetitive applications. Hence, true technology transfer will have occurred for the benefit of our nation's school children.
